Interesting, what does MMIS stand for?
Right, MMIS is an abbreviation for Materials Management Information System.
Some MMIS have built in integration technology, and some only have user interfaces. And there are many interpretations of steps in between.
Depending on the level of investment made by an organisation in the past, these can be systems that were purchased or built in-house.
